The Freethinkers Union campaign was a naming and branding project targeting university students and introducing them to entrepreneurship. The strategy was to raise awareness and encourage them to consider starting their own business as an option after their education. Aware of the difficulties of targeting the student audience we gained students confidence by concentrating on the ‘sexy’ end of starting a business, creativity. The ‘union’ characters handed out leaflets and imparted information at Welsh campuses.
